Hi! I’m Billy.

In my free time, I enjoy drinking unwarranted amounts of coffee, hoarding mid-century modern furniture, and buying tote bags that I do not use! When I’m not performing, you can find me reading a fiction book, trying out a new dinner recipe, planning an elaborate gathering, or cross stitching a bookmark on my couch.

Many of my childhood photos feature a sensible bevel with a hand on the hip, which should have been a clear indicator of my future passion for theater. However, growing up in the suburbs of the suburbs of Pittsburgh may have prolonged the recognition. Regardless, here I am!

I come from a B.F.A. Musical Theater program at Ohio University, where we focused on Meisner technique as our primary starting point for acting (along with Hagen and Stanislavski). And just to be clear, that’s in Athens, Ohio—so think Bobcats, not Buckeyes.

Outside of theater, I’ve always prioritized being a top contributor in the morale department. I want to have a good time wherever I am, and I make it my unofficial job to build community and foster relationships in new places. Usually, that means making stupid jokes and putting myself in uncomfortable situations—but hey, someone’s gotta do it, right?
